STOURPORT swifts are set to head to the road for a trip to Nottinghamshire in the second round of this season’s FA Vase.
The draw for the latest round cup competition has taken place this afternoon with Swifts drawn away at Kimberley Miners Welfare of the East Midlands Couties Football League.
Both clubs are currently in ninth place in their respective leagues, but Stourport will hope to replicate the result the side achieved in the first round by knocking out Shirebrook Town in their bid to reach the third round.
Following the weekend’s ties in the first round, of which nine will be replayed, there are 64 matches at the next stage of the competition.
There are 24 clubs entering the competition at this stage, consisting of those who reached the fourth round proper last season who haven't been promoted to the Buildbase FA Trophy this term.
Games will be played on Saturday, November 11, with winning clubs receiving £900 and losing clubs getting £300 from the FA’s prize fund.
