A TEAM from Kidderminster Lions Football Club is set to play at Barcelona's iconic Nou Camp stadium.
The club's under-10s will travel to Spain from June 14 - 17 to take on teams from across the globe and follow in the footsteps of Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo and Cruyff to have played at the famous ground.
The team was formed back in 2014 at under-7s level and have since gone on to secure the under-9s league, the Rock Tournament, the Birmingham City Tournament and been runners-up in two cup finals.
They now head to Barcelona to test themselves against some of the most talented players in their age group.
Manager Sam Platts said: "The emphasis is on the lads having a fantastic experience, and with little bit of luck hopefully bringing the trophy back to Kidderminster.
"As a coach I have tried to emulate the Spanish/Brazilian way of football and to play at the Nou Camp will be an unbelievable experience for players, coaches and parents.
"Thanks to our new sponsors, Falcon Flooring, for providing us with a smart new kit for the tournament."
