KIDDERMINSTER remain in mid-table in Birmingham and District League Division One despite defeat to Barnt Green.
Singles were off the agenda for Matt Lamb as his unbeaten 67 consisted of nothing but boundaries as he guided Green to victory at Chester Road.
Lamb starred with both bat and ball as the visitors claimed a seven-wicket success last Saturday. He took three wickets for just 13 runs in his five-over spell as KCC were bowled out for just 149.
The home side looked set for an early finish with the score at 71-8 but Liam Weston (47 not out) and Chris Steele (31) batted steadily to make the score moderately respectable by putting on 77 for the ninth wicket.
In reply, Green lost the prolific Ed Pollock for a first ball duck but there was little consolation to follow for KCC as Reediy Amin (55) and Lamb made short work of the Kidderminster bowling to reach the winning target in the 25th over for the loss of just three wickets.
KCC will now look to get back to winning ways when they travel to face league leaders Berkswell this Saturday.
