KIDDERMINSTER Harriers ladies surprised West Midlands Regional League leaders Shrewsbury Town by holding them to a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
The top side went ahead in the 12th minute through Jodie Sands, before Lisa Stokes pounced on a loose ball to level the scores.
Town went ahead in the 38th minute when Sophie Kimm headed home from a corner.
But Harriers ensured a draw in the second half when Nikki Palmer scored a spectacular leveller in the 69th minute, when she sped past four players and swept the ball into the back of the net.
n Under strength Mostyn Rangers Ladies lost 3-1 to KGV in the Kidderminster and District League Women's Division.
Ferndale Ladies kept the pressure on leaders Mostyn by seeing off Droitwich 11-0 on Sunday.
Sarah Hayden (4), Bex Meredith, Tracy Hancock, Leah Wilcox and player of the match Lucy McLoughlin (4) hit the back of the net to keep the gap between the top two to one point.
Ferndale Youth under-11s booked their place in the final of the Ron Handy Memorial Shield by defeating Droitwich Terriers 3-0, with goals for Georgia Eaton (2) and Megan Garbett.
Ferndale will meet clubmates the Flyers in the final, who beat beat Bromsgrove 2-1 to make the finals thanks to Holly Baron's brace.
Ferndale under-16s lost 2-1 to Bilbrook, despite Chelsea Mudge hitting the back of the net.
