STOURPORT ladies sealed the title in the Midlands Division B despite losing to University of Nottingham 4-3 on Saturday.
While the ladies went down in a seven-goal thriller the only side that could catch them, North Notts, lost 4-3 to Hinckley It means Stourport's six-point lead at the top of the table cannot be caught.
Going into the game in Nottingham they needed just a point to seal the championship and had the perfect start when Fran Moss made it 1-0 from the penalty spot.
The home side levelled the scores with a penalty, before a goal just before half-time left Stourport trailing.
Two more goals saw the hosts take a 4-1 lead, before Moss pulled a strike back and Kate Fletcher restored hopes of a fightback with a deflected goal late on.
The second team hammered Bournville's thirds 7-0, with goals for Katie Spencer (3), Jen Peniket (2), Jade Marshall-Walker and Lorna Hawthorn.
The fourths drew 1-1 with Old Silhillians, with Terri Baron hitting the back of the net.
Stourport men's title hopes were ended after they lost 3-1 to Kingston-upon-Hull away in the National North Division.
Defeat means the team have slipped to fourth in the table and with three games of the season left they are nine points off table-toppers University of Birmingham.
Stourport had the perfect start to the game when Phil Lashford maintained his excellent scoring run with a goal in open play.
But they were shot down by Stuart Boddy's hat-trick, who scored once in open play and twice from the penalty spot to sink Stourport.
Chaddesley Corbett men were defeated 6-0 by Stafford in the West Midlands League Division Two on Saturday.
They can still prise themselves off the bottom of the table by defeating Yardley on Saturday.
Saturday's opponents are only one point ahead of Corbett with one game in the season left.
