RUNNING: Members of Amazing Feet's Pye family were out in force on Easter Sunday, completing the Hanham Horror six mile multi-terrain event.
Mum Jane made a welcome return from a long injury to finish the race in fifth in the F50 section and 217th out of 244 finishers in a time of 79mins 45secs.
Dad David Pye ran with her, though gallantry prevailed as he let Jane cross the line just ahead, recording 218th in 79-46.
Son Shaw finished in an excellent second place in 41-23.
Other club members to finish were Craig Bone (46-45 in 13th and second M40) and Pete Trow (56th in 53-29).
On the same day, Richard Baker ran in the Easter five mile race, organised by Massey Ferguson RC in Coventry, finishing 62nd of 103 finishers in 42-38.In the previous weekend, Jan Flavell-Raybone took part in the Stafford Half Marathon, finishing 918th of the 1278 finishers in a time of two hours 1-55.
Eighteen members competed in the Round the Lakes 20 mile race in Rhayader. Shaw Pye finished in fourth position and David Whymant was second M60.
