NORMAN Broadfield has stepped down as Kidderminster Victoria CC's chairman to take up a new role at the Chester Road club.
Broadfield announced that he has been replaced by Les Vincent at the club's annual general meeting after a six-year reign.
He has been named development manager, which will allow him to concentrate on a handful of subjects close to his heart, such as helping junior players progress into the senior sides.
"The new role gives me scope to concentrate on four or five targets," said Broadfield, who will remain as chairman of Chester Road Sports Club.
"I want to make sure the link between our big junior section and the senior teams is strengthened.
"I think my biggest achievement is taking the club forward.
"When I took over we were struggling in the Premier Division and were relegated, but since then we have built a good team full of young players and became more competitive on the business side."
Geoff Shaw replaces Lin McCoy as secretary, while players Ted Bayliss, Chris Pyke and Gomez Vincent have joined the committee.
Chris Burkes has become the first women to receive the club's life membership in its 158-year history.
Burkes, who is married to club stalwart Tony, received the honour because of her tireless fund-raising for KVCC.
Broadfield said: "Chris' contribution has been brilliant, she has been one of our top fund-raisers for many years and her life membership is well-deserved."
