KIDDERMINSTER Carolians lost 39-31 at mid-table rivals Stafford in a disappointing Counties One Midlands West (North) contest littered with errors.
They now host Harborne on Saturday with the visitors having lost all 14 league games, shipping 593 points.
Against Stafford, KCs scored first with Henry Humphrey bagging an unconverted try.
Then Ryan Tiene passed for Will Fallows to score a try converted by Chris Pinner.
KCs' forwards impressed while Harvey Kelsall and Pinner put in good tackles.
But errors crept in and Stafford scored three tries in 10 minutes with two converted.
A forwards drive saw player of the match Simon Clarke go over with Pinner converting to make it 19-19 at half-time.
Stafford scored another converted try before Tom Kerrigan sprinted home with Pinner kicking the extras.
KCs suffered injuries and Stafford struck with several more tries.
But Beau Archer kept the visitors in it with a try before a late penalty completed the hosts' victory.
