A FAN is compiling a roll of honour for former Kidderminster Harriers players who lost their lives in either World War or any other conflict.
Phil Baker would like to hear from local historians, relatives of the war dead or anybody with information about ex-Kidderminster players who fell serving their country.
He said: "I have been supplied with a copy of the Harriers centenary history which mentions a few players from the periods immediately before the two world wars.
"But it doesn't go into sufficient detail. If any of your readers can assist me I would be grateful."
Baker wants to get hold of team/club photos that identify players from the 1913/14, 1914/15, 1938/39 and 1939/40 seasons.
Once he has established who was playing for the club immediately before the wars Baker can check names with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
