HARRIERS boss Mark Yates is looking forward to tomorrow night's long-awaited fans' forum - providing the event is constructive and doesn't become "stupid".
Yates and chairman Barry Norgrove will face supporters in a question and answer session in the Aggborough Suite at 7.30pm.
Fans have been calling for the club's board to hold a public forum since last summer to clarify what is happening behind the scenes.
And the Aggborough powers-that-be have finally bowed to pressure, although they will only respond to pre-submitted questions.
Tickets for the event have sold out.
"I've got nothing to worry about and nothing to hide, I'm just hoping it doesn't turn into a free-for-all," said Yates.
"If they're done properly I think they are a usual communication tool but if it becomes stupid with barracking it becomes a non-event and a waste of time.
"I'm hoping its constructive and I'll answer any questions that are put to me.
"I've never done one of these before as a manager so let's hope it's done in the right way.
"The fans snapped up the tickets quickly enough so it seems to be something they wanted."
Once the forum is out of the way, there is also the small matter of Harriers' home Conference clash with Aldershot on Saturday afternoon.
Midfielder Jake Sedgemore missed last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Morecambe with a groin strain and again is the only doubt in a squad which will include Cayne Hanley, the teenage striker on a work-experience loan from Burnley.
Harriers went to the the Cheltenham festival earlier in the week as part of a team-bonding exercise.
