KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have missed out on one summer transfer target - but are still holding out hope of persuading the club's player-of-the-season to stay.
Former Aggborough loan striker Andy Bishop was high-up Mark Yates's wish-list after a prolific season for York City.
But Bishop has signed for League Two Bury, meaning Yates must look elsewhere for a long-term replacement for last year's topscorer Iyseden Christie.
Meanwhile, Harriers are trying to convince popular loanee Johnny Mullins to permanently drop down four levels after his release from Premiership Reading.
