Furnace Mill
DAN Bache took full advantage of the more comfortable temperatures to win the Sunday Open with a catch of 120lb 13oz.
His friends Max Galakowski and Warren Jennings also did well, finishing second and fourth respectively.
Pellet and paste was popular this week with many anglers using either halibut or catfood paste with 2.5mm feed pellet crumbled in.
Lots of fish are feeding up in the water but the larger weights are being caught at dead depth with regular feeding.
To fish the open please book in on 01299 266777 or visit www.furnacemill.net for any enquiries.
