A DERBY day will kick off the FA Cup journeys of two county clubs.
Worcester City will travel to Malvern Town in the extra preliminary round of the world’s oldest football competition.
It’s not just bragging rights at stake, with the winner pocketing £1,125, while the defeated side will take home £481.
As if that wasn’t enough, the victor could find themselves taking on another local rival in the next round after being drawn against the winner of Worcester Raiders and Daventry Town.
The fate of several other Worcestershire clubs was also decided.
Evesham United will host Hinckley LR in the extra preliminary round.
If successful, they will then take on either Hereford Lads Club or Hanley Town.
Meanwhile both Bewdley Town and Stourport Swift will journey across borders, taking on Racing Club Warwick and Hereford Pegasus respectively.
If the two county clubs are able to overcome their opponents, they will face each other in the preliminary round of the competition.
The extra preliminary round is to be held on Saturday August 6, with the following round set on August 20.
FA Vase draw sees more county clashes
The draw has also been made for the FA Vase, which caters for teams competing at steps five to seven of the National League System, with 586 taking part.
Bewdley, Malvern and Pershore Town will all enter the competition at the first qualifying round on Saturday, August 27, with 176 ties in total.
Pershore will play at home, taking on Littleton, while Bewdley and Malvern travel to Lichfield City and Ashby Ivanhoe respectively.
The two Worcester teams then enter in the second qualifying round, to be held on Saturday, September 24.
City will welcome the winner of Bewdley and Lichfield, while Raiders will host Shawbury United or Westfields.
If successful, Malvern will play Rocester and Pershore will face Bridgnorth.

There is yet more cup competition, with the first two rounds of the FA Trophy also revealed.
Evesham are the only side from Worcestershire to feature in the competition, which is open to teams from steps one to four the National League System, with 319 clubs set to take part.
The Robins first travel to Aylesbury United before hosting Sholing or Lymington Town if successful.
Their opening tie is to be held on Saturday, September 10.
