TICKET sales for the Isuzu FA Vase round of 16 clash between Worcestershire rivals Stourport Swifts and Worcester City have surpassed the 1000 mark.
The highly anticipated clash at Walshes Meadow will likely be played in front of a capacity crowd as only a limited amount of tickets remain.
Tickets only went on sale over the weekend but they have been snapped up at a serious rate of knots by fans of Worcester and Stourport as both sides compete for a place in the quarter-finals of the competition on February 10.
An astonishing day for a small club like ours as we surpass 1000 sales in just 8hrs! A big thanks again to @WorcesterCityFc for helping with the ticketing platform. We are now down to just 300 tickets left and once they are gone they are gone. https://t.co/XpGmHCCCjY pic.twitter.com/1aELXs6y5p

City are matching their best-ever run in the tournament by reaching the last 16, whilst Swifts will be hoping to go one better than their quarter-final achievement back in 2020.
Both sides produced impressive performances to come through their fourth-round matches, with City beating Midland Football League Premier outfit Lichfield City 2-0 at Claines Lane, whilst Swifts got the job done versus Ashby Ivanhoe thanks to a 3-1 score line.
And following the draw - made live on TalkSport 2 - City drew Stourport away to set up what will be a huge occasion for both sides, with the winner moving to within three games of a Wembley final.
